A focus on your own personal and professional development will be required. This will be ascertained by drawing up a development plan and curriculum vitae (CV), which will consider your own qualities, skills, and experience, current and future needs. Task 1 : Go through the relevant websites and review the job opportunities and list them within the science industry, show some (2-3) screenshots of your research relevant to your PPD (P1)Assess the skills and experience needed for your careers in laboratory or related industry, and compare and contrast skills and experiences needed for two different science industry related jobs. (P2,M1)Analyse the availability and scarcity of the skills required in science industry and explain how will this findings helps you to choose your career (D1) Task 2 : Do your own SWOT analysis and write a report (P3)Based on your SWOT analysis, assess and evaluate your fitness in the science industry or selected job role. An assessment of your vocational experience and experiences such as formal study, employment and/or voluntary activity should be made. Based on that role job description and person specifications, propose and justify areas of development for the selected role.
