Australia is a global destination for education. Students from all over the world come to this amazing country to study. Out of the many top-class universities that this country has, 33 featured in the QS World University Rankings’ 2015/16 edition, which is a fact enough for a student to estimate the prestige of the institutions in Australia. Seven of these 33 universities were also successful in grabbing a place among the global top 100 universities and a further ten were in the top three hundred.

1. University of Melbourne

The University of Melbourne is widely acclaimed for the quality of education offered here. The university is ranked very high for its education in accounting, Psychology and Medicine. It was ranked 42nd in the world recently. It is Australia’s second oldest university and has been offering world-class education since its establishment.

2. Australian National University (ANU)

Australian National University is located in the capital, Canberra.  It is very highly acclaimed for the education offered in the fields of Politics, geography and various other science courses. 20. La Trobe University
