Assessment Task Instructions

This report includes your last few weeks’ (week 2 to week 6) review of the contemporary studies in entrepreneurship literature. In assessment task 1, you have followed the  annotated bibliography style. However, you will follow the literature review style for assessment task 2. In this regard, a few exemplary documents are uploaded on Moodle for your assistance.

Besides, you have been reviewing relevant literature between weeks 2 and 6, presenting those, and receiving feedback from your lecturer during your weekly classes. This in-class practice would enhance your capacity to write the assessment task 2.

The assessment task 2 (i.e., the brief literature review document) ideally should be less than 2000 words, and you should include the following:

  • Introduction or Background [an overview and a justification of the research, succinct title, research aim, and how papers are selected/filtered, please see the marking rubric for more details] – 4 marks (400–600 words).
  • Literature review [a brief overview of at least 6 research papers published in the last five years with headings and subheadings, reflections and contemporary entrepreneurship research problem/gap identification, research questions, please see the marking rubric for more details] – 10 marks (1400–1600 words).
  • Overall, academic practice [please see the marking rubric] – 4 marks.
  • Overall, structure of the report [please see the marking rubric] – 2 marks.
