Task description:

Following a review of the literature, appraise the role of an early childhood education leader in contemporary Australia and conclude best practice.

Criteria:

• Appraise the role of an early childhood education leader in contemporary Australia, based on review of the literature and empirical evidence, including learning frameworks, government reports and policy documents. 
• Provide relevant examples of best practice of leadership in Early Childhood Education settings and justify the examples with critical reflection using relevant academic literature. Draw on the contemporary context of early childhood education in Australia, including your own professional practice experience. 
• The report is written clearly and cohesively, using APA 7 referencing style and the word limit is adhered to.
