Guidance for improvement will be given in writing on the Assessment Feedback Form or on the StudyNet Feedback Form within 4 weeks of submission.  Assignments submitted up to one week late will receive a maximum numeric grade of:         Levels 4, 5 and 6 (UG) – 40            Level 7 (PG) – 50 Plagiarism offences will receive standard penalties.

Assignment Title and Description of the Assignment: “The Covid19 pandemic has posed new challenges for leaders in both large and small businesses because of the new health measures that has forced people to work remotely to prevent the spread of the virus. This has led to organizations having to be managed virtually which brings with it its own set of challenges, especially for those who are unfamiliar with technology and used to face to face interaction. Virtual interaction is seen to affect interpersonal dynamics.  The virtual platform by its very nature does not allow for the same physical “closeness” that is evident in face to face interactions, where “the appropriate affect, tone, pacing, and facial expressions that we rely on for effective communication in person are more difficult to give and receive virtually, especially in group settings. Thus, equipping yourself with new skills is unavoidable” as many organisations move into a new hybrid work environment. Thambusamy and Bekirogullari (2020)   Critically evaluate the importance of interpersonal skills for successful management in a hybrid work environment (‘new normal’),giving practical examples.   Make reference to relevant authors in your answer.   (50% weighting)   Using a suitable CPD Log, review the interpersonal skills youpersonally have developed over the last six months. Then using a CPD Plan, outline which skills you plan to develop over the next six months in order to prepare you for the new normal, and how you will go about this.    (50% weighing)   Answer both questions.Approximately 750 words for each. For each day or part day up to five days after the published deadline, coursework relating to modules submitted late will have the numeric grade reduced by 10 grade points until or unless the numeric grade reaches 40 for levels 4, 5 and 6 or 50 for level 7 (PG).  If a submission is more than 5 working days after the published deadline, a grade of zero will be awarded. Where the numeric grade awarded for the assessment is less than 40, no lateness penalty will be applied;
