What is a literature review?

A literature review is a critical analysis of published sources, or literature, on a topic. It is an assessment of the literature and provides a summary, classification, comparison and evaluation.

The literature review is generally in the format of a standard essay made up of three components: an introduction, a body and a conclusion.

Description of Assignment:

You are to locate research articles on the world of auctions so you can gain a better understanding of the industry that Leonard Joel operates in.

You are to write a 1000 – 1500 words summarizing the general theme(s) of these articles as it pertains to your topic.

References, listing the articles should also be included (references do not count as part of your word limit).

This Literature Review will serve as the background/foundation for your final Leonard Joel Assignment. While this assignment is an individual assignment, when you come together as a group you will select the best and most relevant parts of each team member’s Literature Review to support the case you will make in your group assignment.  It will be best to discuss what you will be researching as a group to avoid any doubling up.

Grading of Assignment:
