Assessment 1: Professional Learning Badges (40 %) – SPECIFICATIONS

This assessment is based on a learning badge. keeping in mind that a learning badge is a certificate that a person will get when an institution validates the accomplishment of a learning activity such as workshop, conferences, social work or any educational strategy. The badges to be learned and earned are in alignment with engagement, mental wealth competencies and employability parameters.

Assessment 2: Individual portfolio – SPECIFICATIONS

You must complete both parts of the Individual Portfolio by simply following the instructions on the subsequent pages of this template document. The sections that you will need to complete before your final submission can be checked off one-by-one for your records using this checklist:

  The First part of the individual portfolio:

The Malvern House in sessional would provide the evidence of your current general MBA skills. Based on the results of the diagnostic test and in sessional, you will produce a 250 reflective report wherein you will document the enhancement of your business and administrative skills.

  1. Write 250 short reflections on your learning from engaging with MBA Skill Centre classes. The reflection should highlight the one specific skill you learnt and developed whilst attending these sessions and its importance in specifically enhancing your career prospect.

The Second Part of individual portfolio: enrichment activity

This assessment is based on a multiple test based on big five personality traits. There are four components to this part of the Enrichment Activity:

  • Complete the self-assessment (predicted score)
  1. Complete the Big Five Personality Questionnaire the Big Personality Traits. You can access the test for free online here: 123Test The Big Five Personality Test
  2. Complete the self-assessment table (post-completion) Here, input the predicted scores (completed earlier) and actual scores (received after completing the Big Five Personality Questionnaire).
  3. Write three short reflections. Each reflection should be on ONE trait from the Big Five Personality Questionnaire linked to some of the eight Mental Wealth competencies, the learnings as a result of attending this module, completing the self-assessments and how it can potentially affect your own employability.

Assessment 3: Reflective Account – SPECIFICATIONS

The reflective account is an opportunity to evaluate your actions throughout the learning process reflecting on the knowledge, skills and Mental wealth competencies required by professional set up.

An example could be the use of the CIPD professions map for HR professionals. You will need to include your:

  • knowledge of the connected digital, social and economic space and your use of ICT
  • role in creating organizational culture through your research
  • actions integrating research practices into your professional context

Aim of the reflective account:

To write a reflective account that describes, interprets and presents the experience gained by the student during the development of the module HR7004 related to your profession and mapping it to your individual personality and relevant mental wealth competencies.

Format, referencing and use of quotations.

Your work should be word processed in accordance with the following:

  • Font size 11, using a sans serif font such as Arial or similar.
  • 1.5 line spacing
  • The page orientation should be ‘portrait’ (large diagrams and tables can be in landscape orientation if that enables them to fit on fewer pages)
  • Margins on both sides of the page should be no less than 2 cm.
  • Pages should be numbered.
