Background information
A client of the accounting firm in which you work wishes to migrate to Australia and set up a business. The client has not provided a great deal of information but wants to have some background in relation to what types of business structure exists. You have been asked by your managing partner to prepare a Memorandum of Advice so that addresses the various business structures that are available in Australia, the features of each and when it is appropriate to use such a structure. You may also need to make some assumptions in relation to the fact that the client instructions are not complete. These should also be included in your Advice.
