Purpose of this assessment
This assessment aims to deepen student understanding of different information systems used by businesses today and how businesses can use IT to solve problems and achieve their business objectives.
Demonstrate achievement of this learning outcome:
ULO 2. Discuss the social impact of information technology, both locally and globally and the need for related security, privacy, and ethical consideration in information technology usage in businesses.
ULO 3. Apply effective written communication skills and problem-solving skills by identifying and resolving issues in relation to information technology systems and their components in business context.
Task description:
To complete this assessment, students are required to:
- Identify and apply key areas of information systems, strategies and demonstrate analysis of theories and concepts by making references to credible sources to increase performance of a company.
- Demonstrate an understanding of problems in the case study and applies the tools to analyses situations.
- Recommend possible solutions.
- Present your report in class (worth 10% of the assessment)

Length: 3000 words (excluding reference list) (plus/minus 10%)

Citation and referencing (APA 7th edition)
The assignment should show evidence of research, with references from relevant academic journals.
